Float and set
Very much the classic and most common work we do, Float and Set is the application of two coats of plaster on walls and ceilings. The base includes a bonding coat, sand and cement, hard wall and many others. This is then ruled off with a straight edge and after drying, finished with a skim coat.
Skimming
This is a two coat system which is the final finished product we all know. It’s used to go over your base coat, new plasterboard or over your exciting ceilings and walls to leave a smooth ready to paint finish.
